Die Publikation dokumentiert die methodischen Grundlagen und Annahmen zur Ermittlung der Endverbrauchspreise der Energieträger für die Treibhausgas-Projektionen 2025. Ausgangspunkt sind die in den Rahmendaten definierten Brennstoff- und CO₂-Bepreisungspfade. Über Annahmen zu den jeweiligen weiteren Preisbestandteilen werden die entsprechenden Endverbrauchspreise ermittelt und dargestellt.

Die Publikation beschreibt die zentralen Annahmen der Treibhausgas-Projektionen 2025 für Deutschland in den einzelnen Sektoren. Neben den Rahmenbedingungen aus den sog. Rahmendaten sowie den Instrumenten werden weiterführende Annahmen beschrieben, die maßgeblichen Einfluss auf die Modellierung haben.

Die Publikation gibt einen Überblick über die Treibhausgas-Projektionsdaten 2025 und erklärt die langfristige Emissionsentwicklung. Ein Schwerpunkt liegt auf den Jahren bis 2030 sowie den Klimazielen in den Jahren 2040 und 2045. Sie zeigt, inwieweit die aktuellen klimapolitischen Instrumente ausreichen, um die nationalen und europäischen Klimaziele zu erreichen.

Die Arbeitsgruppe Erneuerbare Energien-Statistik (AGEE-Stat) bilanziert im Auftrag des Bundesministeriums für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz (BMWK) regelmäßig die Nutzung der erneuerbaren Energien in Deutschland.
