    The illustration GE-R-3 ’Information on pollen’ contains a biaxial chart. The chart shows the number of subscribers to the pollen exposure risk index and the number of pollen diary users. The number of subscriptions to the pollen exposure risk index increased to roughly 19,000 from the year of 2008 to the middle of the 2010s. Up to 2014 only the Pollen app was included, from 2015 onwards the figures are summarised for subscriptions to the Pollen app and the ‘Husteblume’ app.

    GE-I-1: Heat stress

    The illustration GE-I-1 ’Heat stress’ contains two lines indicating the number of hot days and the number of tropical nights respectively, in terms of the German area mean for the years from 1951 to 2021. Besides, the bar chart shows, for the years from 2005 to 2021, the mean number of days on which warnings were issued regarding major as well as extreme heat stress in the GWS warning districts. There is no significant trend discernible for the development of the number of days with heat warnings.

    The line chart KM-I-2 ’Sea levels’ shows the moving annual mean of the tidal mid-water in centimetres with reference to NHN (Normalhöhennull/base height level) for six different gauging stations in the North See and Baltic Sea.
