The 13th German-Russian Environmental Day took place on 27 October 2016 with two parallel seminars:
• Best available techniques (BAT) and best practices in different economic sectors
• Reduction of negative impacts on the Baltic Sea: experiences, practice, results and monitoring
German and Russian environmental experts from various business and administration sectors presented and discussed the current situation on these topics in the Kaliningrad region by means of selected examples and concepts. In the ensuing plenum, the moderators presented the results and recommendations.
