In this 4th Summer School on Sustainable Pharmacy special attention will be given to areas not taught in the regular study program. These are e.g. drug quality and the role of excipients, environmental, regulatory and legal aspects as well as pharmacoepidemiology and global aspects of sustainable pharmacy, like production outside of Europe and health systems of sub-Sahara Africa.

Division II is in charge of waterbody and soil protection as well as public-health issues such as air and drinking water quality.

The Environmental Specimen Bank (ESB) serves to investigate, document and archive environmental and human exposure to pollutants in Germany at a specific point in time.
