The political debate on raising EU’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction target for 2030 from at least 40 percent up to 55 percent or even higher is in full swing. While the European Commission has proposed to reduce emissions by at least 55 percent below 1990 levels, the European Parliament went a step further and adopted a target of 60 percent emissions reductions.

Ziel des Gutachtens war es, verschiedene Ausgestaltungsoptionen für eine Photovoltaik-Pflicht (PV-Pflicht) zu untersuchen und zu bewerten. Oft werden Photovoltaik-Anlagen (PV-Anlagen) nicht gebaut, obwohl sie wirtschaftlich wären. In anderen Fällen werden kleinere PV-Anlagen installiert, obwohl auf dem Dach noch mehr Fläche verfügbar wäre.

Über das kommunale Abwassersystem (Kläranlagen, Regen- und Mischwassereinleitungen) gelangt eine Vielzahl von Stoffen in die Gewässer. In dem von den Ländern finanzierten, koordinierten Projekt wurden deutschlandweit 49 Kläranlagen und ausgewählte Regenwasserbehandlungsanlagen auf prioritäre Stoffe untersucht.
