Ziel dieser Studie ist es, den aktuellen Stand der wissenschaftlichen Debatte zur kommunalen Wärmeplanung aufzubereiten sowie einen Beitrag zu einem gemeinsamen Begriffsverständnis zu leisten. Davon ausgehend werden eine Einordnung der Möglichkeiten und Grenzen des Instruments vorgenommen sowie Weiterentwicklungs- und Forschungsbedarfe abgeleitet.
