The Federal Environment Agency (UBA) has now gone online with its schedule of planned projects for the 2010 Environmental Research Plan (UFOPLAN 2010) of the German Federal Ministry for Environment (BMU). 90 research projects on environmental themes that are due to start in 2010 are listed at http://www.umweltbundesamt.de/service/ufoplan.htm. Topic, project number as well as contact department at UBA are listed. Any institution or business that wishes to take on one or more research projects may submit a declaration of interest by Friday, 30 April 2010, to the Federal Environment Agency, Secretariat Z 6, P.O. Box 1406, 06813 Dessau-Roßlau.

Please note: In order to ensure prompt processing, UBA kindly requests that separate declarations be submitted for each individual project. The departments in charge at the Agency will assess the statements and take them into consideration in the event that competing statements result in a competitive award procedure.
The listing of a project in the Environmental Research Plan 2010 does not imply that it will actually be awarded in 2010. UBA does not send notification to applicants whose declaration of interest has not been taken into consideration.
