Um nutzungsgemischte und kompakte Quartiere zu entwickeln, braucht es gute Lösungen um Lärmkonflikte zwischen Wohnen und Verkehr, Gewerbe, Freizeitnutzung und Sport zu vermeiden oder zu verringern. Der Bericht zeigt gute Beispiele dieser Konfliktlösungen auf.

The overall objective of the transnational project was to increase the safety of the mining and industrial tailings management facilities (TMF) located in the Danube River Basin (DRB) by contributing to strengthen the technical and management capacity at the concerned facilities and responsible authorities.

To ensure that these mechanisms contribute to sustainable development in the host country, it is necessary to measure this effect.

Der Eintrag von Kunststoffen in die Umwelt und die damit einhergehende Belastung von Ökosystemen hat eine wachsende Beachtung in der Öffentlichkeit und Eingang in die politische Agenda gefunden. Kunststoffe können auf verschiedenen Wegen in die Umwelt gelangen. Ein wichtiger Eintragspfad ist das Littering, also das achtlose Wegwerfen oder Liegenlassen von Abfällen im öffentlichen Raum.

The input of plastics into the environment and the associated impact on ecosystems has received increasing public attention and has become part of the political agenda. Plastics can enter the environment in different ways. One important path of entry is littering, i.e. carelessly throwing away or leaving waste in public places.

The research project analysed and evaluated the current status of the use of climate protection projects from the CDM in the international carbon market.  Based on a maximum offer in the CDM of 4.6 billion emission credits (so-called CERs) for the years 2013-2020, a first analysis identified and quantified project types that are particularly dependent on the revenues from the CDM, i.e.

The end of 2020 marks a fundamental change in the global governance of greenhouse gas emissions with the shift from the Kyoto Protocol era to that of the Paris Agreement. This also has implications for the future role and the feasible models of the voluntary carbon market. A critical focus is whether and how 'double counting' of emission reductions is avoided.

In einem Forschungsprojekt wurde untersucht, welche Anreize im Verkehrssektor nötig sind, um den Einsatz von innovativen Technologien für Pkw, leichte und schwere Nutzfahrzeuge zur Einsparung von Kraftstoffen zu forcieren. In der Studie wird gezeigt, dass eine höhere Emissionsminderung für diese Fahrzeuge aus technischer und ökonomischer Sicht sinnvoll und möglich ist.

In diesem Projekt wurde das Messverfahren und der Prüfwert es Blauen Engels für Bürogeräte mit Druckfunktion für die Partikelemission aus Bürogeräten validiert und weiterentwickelt (s. DE-UZ 205, Anhang S-M).
