UBA invites to the final conference of the EU project “TerraChem”, which will take place in Berlin on Thursday 4 June (09:00–17:00) and Friday 5 June (09:00–13:00) 2026. Together with our partners (EI, Naturalis, NKUA, DTU, Leiden University, Eawag), we will present emerging results and key messages for policy-makers and invite participants to provide feedback and input on next steps.
TerraChem is a three year Horizon Europe project working to understand chemical pollution in terrestrial wildlife in Europe. We bring together real-world monitoring, modelling of chemicals source-to-damage pathways, big data management and regulatory applications (e.g. early warning, prioritisation of substances of concern) for chemicals risk prevention and mitigation. Together, this offers a new systems approach to reduce harm to wildlife (and humans) from chemicals in the terrestrial environment, in support of the EU zero pollution ambition.
Please register for on-site participation by 22 May 2026, or for online participation by 3 June 2026, via this link.
Please note: After submitting the registration form, you will see an automatic acknowledgement on your screen. This does not constitute confirmation of participation. A separate confirmation email will be sent by the organisers once your registration has been approved.
