Old diesel vehicles must be phased out of city centres
The German Environment Agency (UBA) is recommending a fundamental reorientation of transport policy, and for cities in particular. UBA’s President, Ms Maria Krautzberger, reiterated this recommendation upon publication of this year’s Schwerpunkte (What Matters) report, based on the still excessively high levels of nitrogen dioxide emitted mainly by diesel vehicles. read more
