4th Berlin Forum on Chemicals and Sustainability Finance for a Planet Free of Harm from Chemicals and Waste (online event)
Ahead of the First International Conference under the Global Framework on Chemicals, the 4th Berlin Forum will bring together high-level representatives from governments, the financial sector, business and civil society.
The event is organized by the German Federal Environment Ministry, in cooperation with the Inter-Organization Programme for the Sound Management of Chemicals, IOMC.
The 4th Berlin Forum will address a crucial question for international chemicals management: How can we mobilise adequate financial resources for the sound management of chemicals worldwide?
The event will consist of selected high level contributions, as well as two thematic sessions on the topic of finance for chemicals man agement worldwide. Sessions will include contributions from senior representatives of multiple stakeholder groups in the form of keynote speeches, senior expert presentations, panel discussions, interactions with the audience, and closing reflections.
Speakers include i.a. Carsten Schneider, German Federal Minister for the Environment and Inger Andersen, Executive Director of UNEP.
