This flyer informs stakeholders in Bulgaria about the importance of separately collecting bio-waste for decreasing the amount of biodegradable waste being landfilled and increasing material recycling. It informs about nutrients and energy contained in bio-waste, about different types of bio-waste, about the proper separation of bio-waste and about the options to use compost or digestate produced from bio-waste. Particular attention is given to composting and anaerobic digestion and to the value of the products from these processes: compost and digestate. The flyer is available in Bulgarian only.
