Abstract

The aim of the programme is to support young professsionals in nature conservation from the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia in the development of their professional skills and management capacities and the establishment of expert networks. To this end, the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN) has conducted five courses since 2012 for promising talents in the nature conservation sector. The last course was successfully completed in Mai 2022. The sixth course startet in Mai 2023.

Each course comprises four twelve-day modules online or at the International Academy for Nature Conservation Insel Vilm, Germany, combined with transfer projects and mentoring.The BfN and the Fellows gain support by Niko Malazonia and FOS Europe B.V..
