The Federal Environment Ministry and the UBA are announcing the German Federal Ecodesign Award for the fifth time. The Award recognises products, services and concepts that distinguish themselves both ecologically and aesthetically. The motto More than Beautiful governs this year's award under which businesses, design agencies, start-ups and students may make their entries until 11 April. read more

The UBA hosts the coordinating office of the Working Group on Renewable Energy-Statistics since 1 January 2016. The working group is an important player in meeting international reporting obligations and in providing transparent information to policy makers and the public. read more
