From May 2023 to April 2026, the UBA has been leading the EU-funded project “NiCE – from niche to centre.” The project focuses on promoting circular lifestyles and sustainable consumption structures in city centers. Together with eight partners from across Europe, UBA has researched, collected best practices, conducted pilot projects in cities, and developed recommendations for action.
The expert conference serves to:
- provide practical knowledge transfer and application of results from NiCE and other UBA work,
- inspire through good examples to promote circular lifestyles in cities,
- facilitate networking among urban development actors to initiate follow-up projects,
- actively involve participants by giving them opportunities to contribute and present their own projects/results.
The event primarily targets actors working in cities to promote sustainable consumption structures. This includes cities, regions, their networks, political decision-makers, NGOs, and initiatives active in this field, as well as representatives of national and regional authorities and EU experts.
Please register for the event by 15 February 2026 via this link. The number of participants on site is limited to a maximum of 100 people. We reserve the right to shorten the registration deadline if necessary.
