December 11th is the designated International Mountain Day. The day was designated by the UN to show the important role of mountain regions for sustainable development. In addition to the respective expert knowledge, soft skills are often important for environmental professionals, such as the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team and to be open to new ideas. read more
