With 20 % of the state territory, the Kyrgyz UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Issyk-Kul covers a large area within the country. The broad diversity of the landscapes challenges a sustainable development of the Biosphere Reserve. The Agency of Environment and Forests requested expert advice on the current conditions in the protected area to stimulate its extension. read more

This project practically supported efforts towards an education for sustainable development, by testing the feasibility to implement the Green Pack in Croatia and to assist teachers/educators and government authorities in fulfilling their roles in raising awareness of sustainable development.   read more

The project carried out several-day workshops in each country on the interrelated topics of environment and health, thereby focussing in particular of an implementation of the SDGs. A study upraised for each country, determining the national status of the environment, situation of health and target SDGs provided a sound basis for a discussion. read more
