The 2018 European Resources Forum will take place at the conference venue “Ludwig Erhard Haus”, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the “Berlin Zoologischer Garten” train station. The venue is 5 km away from Berlin’s main train station (“Hauptbahnhof”) and 7 km away from Tegel Airport. The Federal Environment Agency recommends that participants travel by public transport. The Ludwig Erhard Haus is barrier-free. In addition to appropriate parking spaces in the basement garage, there are stepless entrances to the building, lifts connecting all floors and disabled toilets.
The European Resources Forum is a carbon-neutral event. Environmentally friendly and sustainable measures in the conference concept already ensure that many greenhouse gas emissions are avoided. 235,000 kg of the event related greenhouse gas emissions will be compensated.
