At the 16th meeting of the German-Turkish Steering Committee on the Environment, it was agreed to organise a three-day study tour to Bonn on the topic of "Protected area management and nature conservation". A needs-based knowledge transfer was to strengthen the capacity of experts from the Turkish Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation (MoEU) to further develop effective management of protected areas to protect biodiversity under the conditions of climate change.
