Emission trajectories

As a signatory to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), Germany is required to elaborate annual emission inventories, including for fluorinated greenhouse gases.

In keeping with the IPCC Good Practice Guidance 2000 and the IPCC Guidelines, Germany is required to compile reports on the nation’s fluorinated greenhouse gas emissions, which going forward will also form the basis for international trading with this category of emissions. Hence such reports require a high level of detail, quantitative information on emissions data uncertainty, and complete  documentation.

The F-gases emissions in Germanyin total didn´t changed much from 1990 to 2013. The emissions from refrigeration and air conditioning rised a lot.
