Kassel International Dialogue on 100% Renewable Energy
Kassel International Dialogue on 100% Renewable Energy – a side-event to the annual 100% Renewable Energy Regions Congress
10 / 11 November 2015 at Kongress Palais in Kassel, Germany
Jointly organized by the Federal Environment Agency and deENet Kompetenznetzwerk dezentrale Energietechnologien e.V., the Kassel International Dialogue on 100% Renewable Energy will take place during the 100% Renewable Energy Regions Congress as an international, English-language side-event. It seeks to shed light on a multitude of challenges faced in the implementation of ambitious energy objectives.
Continuing the beneficial tradition from the previous years, all Congress participants are invited to join the side-event on the first day to promote information exchange between international and German guests. Round-table discussions, an evening get-together and an exhibition at which firms and institutions showcase interesting offers in the area of renewable energy and energy efficiency foster active dialogue and information exchange. On the second day the programme of the side-event features a World Café and an excursion to Wolfshagen, one of the example communities in the region.
The German-language 100% Renewable Energy Regions Congress which hosts the side-event already takes place for the seventh time. As part of a programme that comprises over 20 headings, regional implementers and actors will present their successful projects and discuss with representatives from science and business necessary political framework conditions and practical measures for the successful continuation of energy transition processes at the regional level.
