2024-08-20 (known) AUSTAL, comments to documentation and source code

Problem:
2024-08-20

Applies to:
AUSTAL 3.3

Title:
Comments to documentation and source code

Description:

  • Since AUSTAL 3.3.0, the deprecated AKTerm format of the DWD (wind speed classes only in knots and wind direction classes only in decagrades) is no longer supported (in this case, the program provides a comment and an error message), but this information is missing in the manual.
  • In the source code of AUSTAL (up to 3.3.0), the pointer “void** WetDepoList” in module TalWrk.h should be correctly declared as “external”, otherwise this may lead to an error with some compiler settings.

Title:
Besmin in batch mode, specification of nf and nt

Description:
When running Besmin in batch mode, volume flow wet and dry cannot be specified (error message).

Workaround:
Use the Besmin user interface or specify the parameters vq and zq instead of nf and nt.

Resolved:
