Abstract

The main objective was to implement the pilot topic spring floods to facilitate appropriate decision making processes. Thus, ecological as well as economic damages can be avoided or reduced. The experts of the German Remote Sensing Data Center advised especially their colleagues from the Institute of Geoinformationsystems of the Russian Technical University of Aeronautics on topics like data-acquisition, -processing and -analyses.
