International Conference 10-11 October 2013, Berlin

How can an industrialized society sharply cut its greenhouse gas emissions in various economic sectors? Technical solutions and their impact will be deliberated during the international conference.

We expect about 200 European and international experts and decision makers from engineering, natural and social sciences, politics, business, civil society and the media. They will come together to discuss diverse approaches and measures aimed at moving industrialized societies towards greenhouse gas neutrality.

The conference will include sessions on topics such as:

  • Components of the energy supply based on 100% renewable energy sources
  • Status quo and approaches in sectors such as transport, agriculture & food, waste & resources
  • Industrial process related emissions
  • Concepts and challenges in civil aviation and maritime transport
  • Concepts and challenges: regional to local scale

It would give us great pleasure to welcome you to this international conference. The conference will be held in English. English/German simultaneous interpretation will be provided.
