Conference report


This report summarises the contents of the conference "Environmental Aspects in Public Procurement in Europe". The conference took place on 1 and 2 October 2020 in Berlin. It was organised as a two-day hybrid and digital conference to which national and international guests and speakers were invited. The conference focused on climate protection, the circular economy, biodiversity and a non-toxic environment. The aim was to discuss with experts from politics and procurement practice how the public sector can contribute to supporting these topics. The conference was hosted by the BMU and the Federal Environment Agency (UBA).
