Promotion of Best Available Techniques (BAT) in the Textile and Leather Industry in Developing Countries and Emerging Market Economies

The Federal Environment Agency commissioned Adelphi Consult to carry out the project “Promotion of Best Available Techniques (BAT) in the Textile and Leather Industry in Developing Countries and Emerging Market Economies”. The goal of this project was to identify options and develop concepts for strengthening the use of BAT in the textile and leather industry in developing countries and emerging market economies. The project took the form of a feasibility study looking at opportunities for promoting the best available techniques in three selected developing countries and emerging market economies.
