Determining factors in traffic growth

Developments, causes and possible future directions


The current aims to identify the most important factors in the generation of traffic. The aim is to render visible the whole network of social, cultural, and economic developments, and to present possible courses of action through which meaningful traffic reduction strategies can play a part in the achieving of political goals like sustainable mobility and the uncoupling of transport performance from economic performance.
