Most construction machines is driven by internal combustion engines that generate a considerable amount of noise, exhaust and particle emissions.
These emissions are – particularly in urban areas – highly detrimental to air quality, as well as the health of the persons affected. Moreover, many people who are exposed to the noise from construction machines and construction sites experience such noise as noise pollution.
The aim of purchasing low-noise and low-emission construction machines is to reduce noise, exhaust and particle emissions.
