Environmental Research Plan 2008 now online

Submission of statements of intent accepted up until 4 April 2008

The Federal Environment Agency (UBA) is now announcing its planned projects for the Environmental Research Plan 2008 (UFOPLAN 2008) of the Federal Ministry for the Environment (BMU) on the Internet.

10.03.2008 No. 15/08

Interested parties should declare:

  • The research topic (as listed in the overview), the project code number (FKZ) and the responsible department (FG),
  • Proof of expertise and capability to take on the proposed topic, e.g. by quoting previous relevant work or scientific publications,
  • Proof of sufficient staff and technical capacity as well as mention of own initiatives and ability to share costs.

Please note: In order to ensure prompt processing, UBA kindly requests that separate statements of intent be submitted for each individual project. The departments in charge at the Agency will assess the statements and take them into consideration should competing statements result in a competitive award procedure.

The listing of a project in the Environmental Research Plan 2008 does not imply that it will actually be awarded in 2008.  Applicants whose statements of intent are not taken into consideration will not receive notification from the Federal Environment Agency.
