Abstract

This project identified options for improving the framework conditions for the conservation of peatlands in the EU member states. It analysed inter alia results of case studies in Poland with a focus on fen peatlands and in Estonia with a focus on Baltic raised bogs. The survey „Peatlands in the EU Regulatory Environment“ presents findings and recommendations.
