Abstract

Armenia and Georgia are parties to the UNECE Air Convention. However, neither country is a party to the Protocol to Reduce Acidification, Eutrophication and Ground-Level Ozone (Gothenburg Protocol). The project supports the implementation of and accession to the Gothenburg Protocol in Armenia and Georgia. It aims to raise awareness of the Convention and Protocol and to help realise national action plans for ratification through appropriate activities.
