Abstract

Waste electrical and electronic equipment (e-waste) is one of the fastest growing waste streams globally. The project aims to strengthen national and local capacities for the monitoring and disposal of e-waste in the four partner countries. In collaboration with national governments, UNITAR develops scenarios of e-waste generation and collection up to 2050. Stakeholders are being trained, national roadmaps and monitoring reports are being developed.
