In an advisory assistance project of the Federal Environment Ministry, German lawyers developed recommendations for the modernisation of Armenia’s environmental law.

The lawyers advised the Armenian Environment Ministry on the design of a framework environment act, aimed in particular at preventing or limiting negative environmental effects from industrial projects. The project was characterized by intensive and dedicated cooperation between staff of the Armenian ministry and the team of German experts. Workshops provided the Armenian partners with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the content, purpose and impact of the proposals.
